We present an open aerial image dataset named the Aerial Image Dataset for Construction (AIDCON) which includes construction machines. Images were collected via UAV bird’s-eye view. An intense amount of work has been performed to annotate construction vehicles at the pixel level. The dataset is open to the public for future contributions of researchers.

- 9563 construction machines
- 30 construction job sites (excavation, reinforced concrete, transportation, steel structures etc.), 47 construction machine parking area, 3 mining
- Period 2015-2023
- Altitude ranging from ~10 to ~150 meters
- 9 categories: Dump truck, excavator, backhoe loader, wheel loader, compactor, dozer, grader, car, other
